Job Purpose:

• Perform typical A/P & A/R functions as well as office assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable:

  • Processing and recording invoices from vendors. 
  • Verifying invoices against purchase orders, and monthly statements
  • Making timely payments to suppliers in accordance with company policy. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of expenditures. 

• Accounts Receivable:

  • Ensuring accurate invoicing and statement processing
  • Tracking customer account information, credit limits, and outstanding balances.
  • Collecting payments from customers.
  • Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to payments. 

• Other Responsibilities:

  • ​​​​​​​ Answering phones, transferring calls, taking messages, monitoring e-mail account
  • Preparing monthly sales tax returns
  • Maintaining records archive
  • Purchasing office supplies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Business-related Degree Preferred
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Computer Experience (Intermediate)
• Organized & Self-motivated
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize & multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively
• 18 years or older
• Available for 45-hour workweek
