Accounts Receivable Manager

The Accounts Receivable Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing operations and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project-based billing, cost tracking, and compliance with industry-specific regulations and client contracts. This position is direct hire and will pay between $70K and $90K annually.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end billing process for multiple construction and manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, and operations teams to gather billing data and ensure accuracy.
• Review contracts and change orders to ensure billing aligns with agreed terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports and metrics for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
• Lead and mentor billing staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Oversee cash application throughout several locations
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial reviews or audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required
• 5+ years of billing experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
