Job Description:

Allie's Pampered Paws is seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate will have a love for animals, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide exceptional grooming services to our furry clients. More compensation provided per additional experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
• Assess the condition of each dog’s coat and skin, providing recommendations for grooming and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide updates on their pets.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their pets, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable grooming experience.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dog groomer or in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both pets and their owners.
• Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes safely and compassionately.
