Families, Inc. Counseling Services is a private, accredited counseling agency by The Joint Commission (TJC), with outpatient facilities throughout Northeast, North Central, and Central Arkansas. Since our inception in 2000, we have taken a client-centered approach, offering services in clients' homes, schools, and outpatient clinics.
We provide a wide range of therapeutic services for individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages. Our team of licensed professionals supports clients in resolving conflicts, understanding emotional challenges such as anxiety and depression, and finding solutions to longstanding issues. The duration of treatment varies depending on the complexity and severity of the issues presented.

*Position Summary:*
The Mental Health Therapist will provide a variety of mental health services to clients, including intake assessments, treatment planning, therapy (individual, family, and group), psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. This role requires working with clients at approved locations, as determined by clinical need.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide direct mental health services, including intake assessments, treatment planning, therapy (individual, family, and group), and crisis intervention.
* Maintain and monitor caseloads through daily reports (MHP Caseload Compliance in Credible) and ensure timely documentation.
* Complete treatment plans every 180 days and ensure all documentation complies with managed care and insurance requirements for service reimbursement.
* Submit daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports in accordance with policy guidelines.
* Provide reports to DCFS, the legal system, and other relevant agencies as needed.
* Adhere to HIPAA privacy practices and guidelines.
* Attend monthly clinic meetings and participate in staffings with medical teams, maintaining a 90% compliance rate.
* Supervise and observe QBHP staff according to company policies.
* Testify in court when required.
* Maintain an active Arkansas license as a Clinical Social Worker, Master’s Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Associate Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
*Additional Duties:*
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the organization.
*Qualifications:*
*Education:*
* Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
* Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the state of Arkansas (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, or equivalent).
*Skills and Experience:*
* Required: Strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. Ability to provide ethical and effective mental health services to individuals, families, professionals, and staff.
* Required: Travel may be required.
* Preferred: Proficient computer skills, excellent written communication, and strong organizational abilities.
