Apply for this Job Posting Details Job ID: 156107 Rank: Professional Lecturer College/School: Chicago, IL - College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Responsibilities: The History Department seeks a US historian with expertise in Latino/a/x/e history, Chicano history, or borderlands history for a one-year visiting faculty position starting September 2025, with renewal potential. The teaching load is three classes per quarter. Primary duties include teaching introductory courses in Latino History and American History, and developing an undergraduate course in the candidate's specialty area. Expertise in labor, migration, critical race studies, gender, sexuality, or popular culture is a plus. Experience in teaching diverse learning environments is required. Located in Chicago, DePaul University emphasizes teaching and learning.
