Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire an experienced Lead   Truck Technician / Diesel Mechanic . With over 80 years of business and 37 locations, we offer clean, well-equipped, and ventilated facilities that provide plenty of opportunities to develop your skills. Our busy shop in Lincoln, Nebraska has a fun and positive work culture with a great team. 

Job Responsibilities for a Truck Mechanic:

Work schedule: Monday – Friday,

The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
• Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work independently, as well as part of a team

Required: Minimum of 5 years experience in repairing trucks.  Preference given to candidates who are self-motivated, detail oriented , be mechanically inclined, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.

Competitive pay ($32.00-$37.00 DOE) and excellent benefits . Other benefits include paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, company provided life insurance, uniforms, and reimbursement for safety boots and prescription safety glasses. Post-offer testing required, including drug testing.
